beans on the trellis.
those beans at the back in the above picture, behind them i planted sunflowers. beans on the left, sunflowers on the right. its hard to tell, they're neck and neck with each other.
tomatoes up front, peanuts in the back. lots of shredded leaves as mulch.
spaghetti squash, with more space to grow. and more shredded leaves, even in the aisles on the black plastic. i made a proper mess. moving leaves about is a rather messy task. lots of dribbling.
squash vines from the other side, starting to sprawl out
marigolds, zucchini, and the monster volunteer sunflower. behind the zucchini is whats left of the leaf piles.
peanuts
sugar snap peas on the left, black eyed peas on the right, watermelon vines along the bottom
bottom right, cabbage. top right, brussels sprouts. moving left is cauliflower and more sunflowers. moving down the left side is broccoli, then more peanuts. hadnt gotten to weeding this far yet.
the rye. its starting to turn more gold than green, and the heads are bending over. it had also rained and been very windy so it was a bit knocked down in some sections in this picture.
close up rye, getting bigger and heavier, not yet ready for harvest.
more watermelon, and out of control clover
