.9-2-16 224

i lost sweetpea
.9-2-16 233

it took me 4 laps around the yard before i finally tracked her down
.9-2-16 234

i'm still not sure quite how she got in there, but i got her out.
.9-2-16 235

i found her by following her trail
.9-2-16 236

she flattened the grass along the fenceline
.9-2-16 237

its a little confusing to see, but she went in between the chain link fence and the black plastic extra tall deer fencing i had to add to keep puppy from escaping.
.9-2-16 238

i pulled the black plastic fencing out, can you see the trail?
.9-2-16 240

but she couldnt have gotten around the corner to get trapped that way because the fencing is tight between the tall green fence posts and the chain link fence in the corners. so how she got in there to get trapped...???

.7-14-16 212

purple coneflower - or rather red?
.7-14-16 211

pink daylily. i didnt buy any pink daylilies, so one of the ones i bought was mislabeled.
.7-14-16 210

asiatic lilies
.7-14-16 209

i dont know why the white ones are so much shorter than the red ones
.7-14-16 208

so bright and cheerful - asiatic lilies
.7-14-16 207

.7-14-16 206

another hole in the buried soaker hose. i used a garden stake to mark where the water was spraying out.
.7-14-16 163

dug it out, but couldnt find the split
.7-14-16 164

turned the water to the hose on, and then off. now i can see where the split is
.7-14-16 166

let the muddy hole dry out a bit and came back. now the split is much clearer
.7-14-16 189

the hose mender is a piece you stick into the two cut off ends of the hose
.7-14-16 190

and then clamp pieces that you screw tight over that piece and the two ends of the hose
.7-14-16 191

and then this is all you see
.7-14-16 192

there are also hose menders for just the end of the hose
.7-14-16 205
