nasturtiums and canterbury bells

nasturtiums did really wonderful this year in the garden. they help shade the roots of the peas, which lets them stay alive a little longer once the heat hits.

the weeds - oxalis i believe. its really easy to pull, and its kinda bushy and shades out other weeds that are more difficult to pull, so i encourage it to hang around until the plants get bigger. i really hate the crabgrass/quackgrass weeds.

a teeny tiny bug i'm trying to identify. its been so hard to photograph because its so little, but i finally got it somewhat in focus. i havent noticed it feeding on anything, i just keep seeing it around the ash tree.
