day lilies, blackeyed susans, purple coneflowers, and canterbury bells(dying off)

location photo to help me figure out which red daylily this was
orange daylilies, are these doubles? its only two flowers.
the patch of orange daylilies out front are doing wonderful! thriving in the hot glaring sun and dryness.
a black eyed susan variety i picked up at the technical college. seemed strange that one would have red in it, and the other wouldnt, on the same plant.

these were supposed to be 5' tall sunflowers, not 9' tall.
