still a few things left in the greenhouse. the daylilies started from seed, some butterfly bush, a comfrey seedling, and one basil held in reserve in case the other two in the raised bed died.

the confusing tray i planted with lettuce that came up half lettuce half tomatoes (which is confusing because tomato seeds look nothing like lettuce seeds)

the dogs have dug out a pretty deep hole under the stairs where i dumped sand so they'd have a spot to dig that was ok. otherwise molly digs endless holes in the yard and i trip and sprain my ankles. i'll have to take the shovel and shove all the dirt back in the hole, and they'll start all over again. we've been doing this for years now.

you can see some roots sticking out from the nearby tree, and theres a stuffy down in there too. tennis balls often get buried and rediscovered as well.

photographing active dogs is challenging. at least i managed to get puppys rear end in focus... hehehe.

mollys coat looks really pretty here. this is before she started blowing out her undercoat so she's pretty fluffy still.
