berries in the field. they mulch their aisles with straw so its not muddy.
they lead you out across the field and set one person in each aisle. you pick down both sides of the aisle. when you're done you stand up and raise your arm or wave, and one of the kids comes and plants a flag where you stopped picking. then they can send another person to start picking there.
turning around facing the other half of the field behind us. its a long field. and they have multiple fields all over their property.

cleaned up, we got 2 gallon zip lock baggies with 8 cups of berries in each. plus 1 quart bag with just under 4 cups.
plus 5 quart bags stuffed full (unmeasured)
dirtied 3 strainers, 2 bowls, and the 2 cupper measuring cup.
